The top five vote-getters to date at each position in alphabetical order are as follows:
- SKIP: Glenn Howard; Kevin Koe; Kevin Martin; Mike McEwen; Jeff Stoughton
- THIRD: Randy Ferbey; Jon Mead; John Morris; BJ Neufeld; Pat Simmons
- SECOND: Reid Carruthers; Scott Howard; Marx Kennedy; Brent Laing; Carter Rycroft
- LEAD: Steve Gould; Ben Hebert; Denni Neufeld; Craig Savill; Nolan Thiessen
As part of THE DOMINION ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME Presented by Pinty’s qualifying process and All-Star team format, fans were asked to determine who will compete in the event by visiting TSN.ca/CurlingSkins and voting for their favourite Canadian men’s curlers at each position.
On Dec. 11, TSN will announce the top four players with the most votes at each position that qualify for the two-day skins tournament. The All-Star teams will then be chosen by a random draw during a live broadcast airing January 17, 2013 on TSN – giving fans the chance to see their favourite curlers compete with new teammates during THE DOMINION ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME Presented by Pinty’s.
The four All-Star teams will compete for $100,000 in prize money during THE DOMINION ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME Presented by Pinty’s on January 19-20, 2013 live on TSN from Casino Rama in Rama, ON.
Sponsors for this year’s event include The Dominion, Pinty’s, Casino Rama, Chartered Accountants, ASPIRIN, The Source, and Carlton Cards.
Created and operated by TSN Events, THE DOMINION ALL-STAR CURLING SKINS GAME Presented by Pinty’s is the premiere special event on the curling calendar. The curling skins game on TSN has been a fan and industry favourite for the past 24 years.
