TSN Sets the Table for Team Canada’s Selection Camp and the 2014 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, Tomorrow at 10:30 p.m. ET

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: the biggest and most beloved event of the hockey calendar is almost here, and TSN gets fans geared up for the World Junior Championship with the 2014 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: COUNTDOWN SHOW  tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 4) at 10:30 p.m. ET on TSN.

James Duthie hosts the 30-minute special alongside Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie, as they set the table for Team Canada’s selection camp, which kicks off on Dec. 12. Duthie and McKenzie will break down, position by position, how the team might look.

They’ll be joined by World Junior analyst Ray Ferraro, who outlines what Team Canada needs to do to win its first gold medal since 2009, and Craig Button, who tells the story behind Team Canada’s coach, Brent Sutter. The COUNTDOWN SHOW also features an interview with Kootenay Ice captain and prospective #1 pick Sam Reinhart, who served as captain of Canada’s gold medal-winning World Under-18 Championship team in 2013.

As well, the 2014 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: COUNTDOWN SHOW includes a feature on Jonathan Drouin’s “Shift of the Year” with the Halifax Mooseheads in 2012-13. The 3rd overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft orchestrated a goal by teammate Stefan Fournier that is regarded as the best assist of the season.

For additional coverage, fans can watch SPORTSCENTRE and THAT’S HOCKEY for in-depth reports and analysis from Team Canada’s selection camp, which runs from Dec. 12-15 at the MasterCard Centre in Toronto. Fans can also visit TSN’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts for breaking news on the tournament and join the conversation by using the #TSN and #2014WJC hashtags.
