Proper Television is bringing more food and fun to W Network with 80 more episodes of hit series Come Dine With Me Canada in a deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment. This season promises to be more adventurous than ever – traveling across the country and adding new twists with special themed blocks.
Based on the hit ITV Studios format, the half-hour series Come Dine With Me Canada follows five strangers as they compete to throw the perfect dinner party. Each competitor has one night to out-cook, out-host and out-entertain the others and at the end of the night, each diner rates the party. At the end of the week, the top rated host or hostess wins a reward of $1000 and bragging rights as the ‘host with the most’.
Narrator Jamie Carr and his acerbic wit will again be dishing out critical commentary for the fourth season.
“Proper Television has already produced 200 memorable dinners for Come Dine With Me Canada, and we are excited to be including more Canadian cities for the next 80.” said Guy O’Sullivan, President, Proper Television.
Casting for Season 4 is currently taking place and the production will travel across Canada including stops in Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and St. John’s. Also planned are theme weeks including an outrageous Italian Challenge and Ultimate BBQ Masters. Filming began April 15.
Come Dine With Me is an ITV Studios format. Distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment, it is one of the world’s most successful television formats, produced in 36 territories internationally including Germany, France and Australia.
Produced by Proper Television in association with W Network, Season 3 of Come Dine With Me Canada is currently airing on W Network Mondays at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT with 5 back-to-back episodes, and repeats Sundays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. The series is Executive Produced by Guy O’Sullivan and Amy Hosking.
