Drew and Jonathan Scott are back for an all-new season od PROPERTY BROTHERS on W Network

The popular series Property Brothers returns to W Network for a brand new season this October. Real estate agent Drew Scott and his twin brother, contractor Jonathan Scott continue their quest to help couples find and fix up incredible dream homes without busting their budgets. Season 2 of Property Brothers premieres Thursday, October 6 at 9 p.m. A third season has also been greenlit and will go into production in 2012.

“Property Brothers was a hit right out the gate earlier this year and we’re excited to offer more of this audience favourite in just a few weeks time,” said Vibika Bianchi, Vice President, Original Programming, Lifestyle, Reality, Factual Entertainment, Corus Entertainment.

In the hour-long series, Drew and Jonathan help couples find, buy and transform fixer-uppers into the ultimate dream home. Drew is the handsome real estate expert who tracks down hidden gems of houses that have untapped potential. His identical twin brother Jonathan is the handy contractor who overhauls their drab interiors with ambitious renovations. Each week, with the help of CGI technology, the brothers show buyers the underlying potential in two rundown properties. Once the clients choose the property they like best, Drew begins negotiating the purchase price while Jonathan starts planning the transformation. In Season 2, structural problems, last minute design changes and leaky pipes threaten budgets and timelines and it’s up to Drew and Jonathan to make sure deadlines are met.

In the Season 2 premiere, Drew and Jonathan meet Tina and James who are desperate to downsize, move out of the suburbs and into the city. With a budget that doesn’t match the couple’s expectations, Drew and Jonathan struggle to sell the potential of an extreme fixer-upper. Once a decision is finally made, the brothers only have four weeks to completely transform the house as promised. Tensions arise when the renovation exposes major structural issues that threaten the couple’s budget. Stressed to the max, Tina and James are forced to roll up and their sleeves in order to keep the rising costs down.

Property Brothers is produced by Cineflix (Property Brothers) Inc. in association with W Network.
