This January, Corus Entertainment’s W Network presents the premiere of the new original series, Property Brothers which follows real estate agent Drew Scott and his twin brother, contractor Jonathan Scott, as they help couples find, buy and transform extreme fixer-uppers into the ultimate dream home. Produced by Cineflix (Property Brothers) Inc. in association with W Network, this series premieres Tuesday, January 4 at 10 p.m.
Each week, Jonathan and Drew set out to find fixer-uppers to turn into buyers’ dream homes – without busting their budget – in this new one-hour real estate/home renovation series. With the help of CGI technology, the brothers show buyers the underlying potential in two rundown properties. Once the contributors choose the property they like best, Drew begins negotiating the purchase price while Jonathan starts planning the transformation. With contributors’ high expectations to meet, the Property Brothers must make sure that the end product is a dream and not a disaster.
In the first episode, suburbanites John and Christine are hoping to buy a new home in the city – but finding an affordable move-in ready property for a family of six is a tall order, especially since their dream home expectations far exceed their budget. Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan promise to help the couple find exactly what they’re looking for, but first they have to get these picky buyers to look beyond the ugly to see the hidden potential of a fixer-upper. Viewers can tune-in to see if Drew and Jonathan complete this ambitious project on time and on budget when episode 1 of Property Brothers premieres Tuesday, January 4 at 10 p.m.
