W Network Launches New Online Destinations for Women with Rollout of W Dish and W View

Corus Entertainment’s W Network brings two new consumer-facing online properties to market with the launch of lifestyle site W Dish and short-form digital video site W View. W Dish delivers stylish, snackable content about need-to-know lifestyle and pop-culture topics. W View is a first-of-its-kind digital video hub for women. The launch is supported with an exclusive contest featuring a vacation for two from Sunwing to Memories Grand Bahama Beach and Casino Resort, courtesy of Sunwing.ca.

“With the launch of these new digital sites, W Dish and W View, we are giving our audiences more ways to experience W Network’s popular brand by offering a rich, curated selection of bite-sized, up-to-the-moment digital content that appeals to women online,” said Sue Mackay, Vice President, Digital, Women & Family, Corus Entertainment. “These sites extend our digital reach with the highly coveted women’s demo and allow us to engage with our audiences in different ways and on a variety of platforms,”

W Dish is the newest addition to the W Network brand. This new digital destination features addictively clickable lifestyle stories in a mobile-friendly, responsive environment. Focusing on a target demographic of women 25-44, W Dish features original stories from the W Dish editorial team, as well as articles from key bloggers, YouTube creators and freelance writers, such as Lauren Toyota, and contributors from Corus partner YummyMummyClub.ca.

Verticals for W Dish consist of Style, Life, Entertainment, Food and Wellness, and serve up daily stories on fashion and beauty news, celebrity gossip, screen-to-table recipes, as well as must-know tips, tricks and DIYs. In addition to onsite content, the W Dish team produces its own short-form digital videos, and features live editorial meetings on YouTube every Friday at 2 p.m. ET.

W View features video content from across an array of platforms and creators, including Kin Community, the global women’s lifestyle video network that has partnered with Corus in Canada. From the hottest viral videos to original digital series, the site features must-watch, binge-worthy clips and videos that covers everything from how-to clips to the latest, viral video. Built with mobile in mind, the new site allows fans to watch videos wherever and however they like.
