Disclaimers: All times eastern. CBS shows on Sundays may run over because of NFL Football. PBS times may vary by your local station’s whims.
By network TV standards (believe it or not), we’re heading into holiday season, so we’re not going to see too many new shows for a while, but as you see below, the first hint of holiday classics begin. However, if there are any schedule changes (which we have already seen this season), I will update them as I find out, so check back every night, just to be sure.
Sunday
Rizzoli and Isles – 10pm on Showcase – 5th Season Premiere
Monday
Jimmy Kimmel Live – 11:35pm on ABC/12am on Comedy – A week grows in Brooklyn week
Jimmy and his crew take the show to Brooklyn for a second time, and if it’s as good as the first time, it’s a week worth watching. Guests include Bill Murray (Monday), Donald Trump, Jay-Z (Tuesday), Michael J. Fox (Wednesday; remember, it’s Back To The Future year!), Tracy Morgan, Bradley Cooper, Esperanza Spalding AND Paul Shaffer (Thursday), Howard Stern and Public Enemy (Friday).
Tuesday
It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown – 8pm on ABC – Hallowe’en Special
Yes, there are no Muppets this week, but here’s the first of the holiday classics!
Toy Story of TERROR! – 8:30pm on ABC
When Woody, Buzz and the gang stop at a motel, one of them goes missing and the rest must figure out what is going on before they suffer the same fate. First aired in 2013.
Being Mary Jane – 9pm on BET – 3rd Season Premiere
Wednesday
Hellevator – 8pm on GSN – Game Show Premiere
GSN has been trying to merge game shows with reality for a while now, and this is no different. Contestants find themselves on a haunted elevator. One play gets out on each floor, and those who make it back after completing a challenge will proceed to the next floor. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity) is the Executive Producer.
Marketplace – 8pm on CBC – 42nd Season Premiere
The Fifth Estate – 9pm on CBC – 41st Season Premiere
Friday
Great Performances – 8pm-11pm on PBS – 42nd Season Premiere
Elton John’s Billy Elliot The Musical Live
