The Widower – 20pm on PBS – Series Premiere

This British three-part miniseries dramatizes the real-life shenanigans of spouse-killer Malcolm Webster as the supposed mild-mannered nurse attempts (and sometimes succeeds) in murdering his first two wives and a third fiancée. (If you miss Archie Panjabi, who played Kalinda on The Good Wife, she portrays the third fiancée.) Reece Shearsmith stars as Webster.

This drama, based on the French-Canadian series, Nouvelle adresse, follows the life of lifestyle columnist and single mother Natalie Lawson, whose cancer diagnosis sends her in a new direction to live her best life while she can, and to prepare her three children for a future without her.

Game Shakers – 7pm on YTV – Series Premiere

This may be TV’s first gaming sitcom. Bebe and Kenzie are two girls who start a highly successful gaming company and join forces to a rap star to become business partners. The games featured on the show are being released online through an app, so fans can play the games being outlined in the series. Kel Mitchell (former Nickelodeon sitcom star from Kenan and Kel and the movie Good Burger) co-stars as the rapper, Double G.

Raised By Wolves – 9:30 on CBC – Series Premiere

This British comedy is based on the childhood of writer Caitlin Moran and her sibling, but set in the present day.

100 Things to Do Before High School – 7 to 8pm on YTV – Series Premiere

The sitcom tales of CJ and her friends as they pledge to do a bunch of bucket-list-type things while they’re still in middle-school. (Future episodes will be 30 minutes.)

American Horror Story: Hotel – 10pm to 11:30 on FX – 5th Season Premiere

(While technically a returning show, it’s a whole new story every season.) This season tells the story of Detective and family man John Lowe, who investigations a series of gruesome murders that take him to the enigmatic Hotel Cortez. While many of the actors from previous season return in new roles, this is the first season without Jessica Lange. New cast members this year include Lady Gaga, Cheyenne Jackson, Naomi Campbell and Max Greenfield (who continues to play Schmidt on New Girl).

Jay Leno’s Garage – 10pm on CNBC – Series Premiere

The former Tonight Show host turns his love of cars into a reality series which looks at all of the aspects of vehicles that strike his fancy. Tim Allen is his firsts guest.
