The VMedia team will be appearing before the CRTC on Friday, April 26, to intervene against applicants for mandatory carriage licences. This form of licence, if awarded, would oblige every Canadian consumer who gets a basic package to receive and pay for a channel with this licence.
No choice.
VMedia believes no application is of such exceptional importance that Canadians should be forced the receive any new basic channel, and pay for it. Watch us on CPAC, at the link below, where our appearance will be streamed live. We are not sure of the time, but we will be appearing right after Joe Clark, probably some time after 10am.

It will be interesting, promise.
