New series Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby premieres Monday, March 7 at 9pm ET/10pm PT only on Twist TV

Twist TV is bringing Canadian viewers an exclusive look into the home of one of Hollywood’s sexiest former bachelors, Saved By The Bell heartthrob Mario Lopez, as he swaps parties for parenthood on his journey to becoming a devoted dad. With girlfriend Courtney Mazza by his side, Mario struggles to answer all the questions of a new dad. From sonograms and baby proofing to 3 a.m. diaper duty, this 10-part docu-series is a humourous and entertaining adventure in co-parenting. Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby airs exclusively on Twist TV in Canada, with back-to-back episodes Mondays at 9pm ET/10pm PT beginning March 7.

In each episode the celebrity couple tackles the everyday challenges faced by all parents-to-be, balancing new priorities with their already busy careers – all while trying to maintain a healthy love life. With Mario being the host of EXTRA and America’s Best Dance Crew, and Courtney being a performer herself, they’ll definitely have their hands full. The countdown to parenthood is on, and with only three months until the birth of their first child, there’s still an overwhelming amount to learn.

“We’re excited to offer this entertaining series exclusively to Twist TV viewers in Canada,” says Barb Williams, Senior Vice President of Content, Shaw Media. “Planning for a baby is life-changing for anyone, and viewers will delight in going behind the scenes of everyday life with this well-known celebrity couple.”

The first two Canadian broadcast premiere episodes are:

Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby – Episode 1: Hasn’t Hit Me Yet
Monday, March 7 at 9pm ET/10pm PT

Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza are three months away from parenthood, but the idea of fatherhood hasn’t quite hit Mario yet. As he tries to juggle his crazy work schedule, he’s also moving into a new house and, on top of that, his wife is six months pregnant. As if this balancing act isn’t enough pressure Courtney desperately wants to learn the sex of the baby in advance but Mario wants to keep it a surprise. Can Mario convince Courtney that knowing the baby’s gender is worth waiting for?

Mario Lopez: Saved By The Baby – Episode 2: The Art of Compromise
Monday, March 7 at 9:30pm ET/10:30pm PT

Mario is all about family so he takes a break from his crazy work schedule to bring his and Courtney’s families on a vacation to Mexico. Mario lets everyone know that he is headstrong on NOT circumcising the baby if it’s a boy. Courtney makes it a point to let Mario know that decisions regarding the baby must be 50/50. The couple works on finding a common ground when it comes to making any final baby-related decisions.
