It’s ladies night at the 2010 EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS, airing Monday, Nov. 8 at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on MuchMore.
Chart-topping women lead this year’s nominations with Katy Perry and Lady Gaga garnering five nods each. Canadian pop phenom Justin Bieber was also recognized with two nominations. Broadcasting from Madrid, Spain, previous EMAs winners Katy Perry, and rock royalty Linkin Park are also set to perform.
Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Rihanna go head to head in the “Best Pop”, “Best Female” and “Best Song” categories while Gaga is also celebrating a nod for “Best Live Act” and Katy Perry is up for “Best World Stage Performance.”
Coming off the success of his recent VMAs wins, Eminem reclaims his Hip Hop crown with four EMAs nominations including “Best Song”, “Best Male”, and “Best Video” for his collaboration with Rihanna, “Love the Way You Lie.”
British stadium rockers Muse along with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park, and Kings of Leon find themselves up against the Prince of Darkness, Ozzy Osbourne for “Best Rock,” while Ke$ha, B.o.B, Plan B, and Jason Derulo join Justin Bieber in the competition for “Best New Act.”
