Oh to be 26 again! Liza Miller (Sutton Foster, BUNHEADS) trades in her wisdom and dignity for another chance at her twenties in the highly anticipated new comedy series YOUNGER, premiering Tuesday, April 7 at 8 p.m. ET on M3, with two back-to-back episodes. Created and executive produced by Emmy®Award winner Darren Star, the single-camera series, based on the novel Younger by Pamela Redmond, also stars Hilary Duff (GOSSIP GIRL) and Debi Mazar(ENTOURAGE). The series also boasts renowned stylist and costume designer Patricia Field (SEX AND THE CITY) as a fashion consultant.
YOUNGER follows 40-year old Liza (Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find it’s nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with the sexy Josh (Nico Tortorella, THE FOLLOWING), a young tattoo artist, convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 – with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Miriam Shor, BORED TO DEATH), and teams up with her new co-worker and 20-something Kelsey (Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams, publishing. Now she just has to make sure no one discovers her secret. YOUNGER also stars Tessa Albertson (Disconnect) as Caitlin, Liza’s daughter, and Dan Amboyer(William & Catherine: A Royal Romance) as Thad, Kelsey’s boyfriend.
