Last Sunday’s penultimate episode saw Dexter (Michael C. Hall) preparing to leave Miami with son Harrison (Luke Andrew Kruntchev) and soul mate Hannah (Yvonne Strahovski), confident that his dark passenger will finally find the light. Meanwhile, viewers were left gasping as Dexter’s nemesis, Oliver Saxon (Darri Ingolfsson) was freed by a duped U.S. Marshall, allowing him to escape and shoot Deb (Jennifer Carpenter), leaving Dexter’s sister bleeding out on the floor of an abandoned mental hospital.
