MTV announced today the return of MTV LIVE with new co-host Paul “The Intern” Lemieux. Brand new episodes of the Gemini Award-winning nightly comedy talk series start next Tuesday, July 3 at 6 p.m. ET. After an exhaustive search for the best in the biz, Lemieux trades in his intern name tag and takes his place on the couch as co-host, alongside Nicole Holness. Viewers on-the-go can catch MTV Live on their mobile devices at m.mtv.ca and live on Bell Mobile TV.

In additional changes announced today, Sheena Snively – everyone’s favourite loud-and-foul-mouthed MTV LIVE correspondent – takes over controls at the MTV pod to deliver her brutally honest take on anything and everything, now a little closer to center screen. As well, Canada‘s only live-to-air nightly comedy talk program ups its Lebanese factor 100% with hilarious contributions from award-winning comedian Dave Merheje. The foursome bring fans to the forefront of all things pop culture, while toeing the line between inappropriate and down-right outrageous! No matter the topic, MTV LIVE always sparks the best in water-cooler conversation.
MTV LIVE engages viewers and its in-studio audience with a daily dose of news, pop culture, and live music performances. On average, MTV LIVE reaches nearly 800,000 viewers per week (P2+) across all of its weekly broadcasts. A broadcast of MTV LIVE earlier this year ranked as MTV’s most-watched broadcast of a Canadian series, season-to-date. MTV LIVE airs nightly at 6 p.m. ET with encores episodes airing at 11 p.m. ET.
