MTV September Highlights

Class is back in session, and MTV is schooling viewers on all that’s cool this month with the latest original programming and new series premieres.

• Head to the slammer Friday, Sept. 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET for the series premiere ofCUFF’D
• Students get their swag on Tuesday Sept. 6 – Thursday Sept. 8 at 6 p.m. ET during Frosh Week as MTV LIVE BACK TO SCHOOL WEEK treats their audience to a multitude of giveaways and tips on how to stay cool in school
• MTV explores the subject of riots Sunday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. ET featuring special guest Brigette Depape – the rogue page with the “Stop Harper” sign – with original series MTV NEWS PRESENTS IMPACT: RIOT!

MTV Exclusive Episodes – Thursdays at 6:26 p.m. ET

MOVIE NIGHT host Johnny Hockin goes behind-the-scenes of the world-renowned Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), getting the scoop on the most buzzed-about films, hitting up the red carpet, and the hottest TIFF parties. Fans can also check out exclusive interviews with legendary actor Al Pacino and the cast of Footloose.

CUFF’D
MTV Series Premiere – Friday, Sept. 5 at 10:30 p.m. ET
Ever wonder what happened to your friend last weekend between getting arrested and landing in jail? Introducing CUFF’D, a documentary series that takes a revealing look at what happens between the time an offender is arrested and lands in jail. From the back of a police squad car, CUFF’D explores compelling personal stories from young people who have been arrested for robbery, drug dealing, prostitution, drunk driving, domestic violence and more.

MTV LIVE BACK TO SCHOOL WEEK
Tuesday September 6 – Thursday Sept. 8

Great. Audience. Giveaways. It’s back to school and MTV LIVE is celebrating Frosh week with awesome prizes and giveaways. The Gemini-award winning MTV LIVE starring Daryn Jones is Canada’s only live-to-air nightly comedy talk program. Comedian Jones leads a gang of misfits that include pop culture junkie, musician and co-host Nicole Holness, the-boy-who-never-wanted- to-be-on-TV Paul “The Intern” Lemieux, and local loud mouth Sheena Snively, who keeps everybody on their toes.

MTV NEWS PRESENTS IMPACT: RIOT!
MTV Exclusive Episode – Sunday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. ET

MTV Canada original series IMPACT takes an in-depth look at serious topics that affect MTV viewers and aims to spark discussion and debate. In this installment, a live studio audience consisting of youth from London, Vancouver, Toronto, and The Middle East join in discussion to the cause and affect of riots and mob mentality, as well as the role social media plays in bringing these groups together on a grander scale. Returning as IMPACT moderator is MTV NEWS correspondent Mike Anderson and special guest Brigette Depape – the rogue page with the “Stop Harper” sign.

TEEN MOM
MTV Season 3 Finale – Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m. ET

In the season finale of TEEN MOM, Amber and Gary attempt to get the no-contact order lifted, while Maci tries to cut Ryan out of her life. Farrah is forced to make an unexpected choice about moving away, and Butch moves in with Catelynn and Tyler.

REAL WORLD: SAN DIEGO
MTV Season Premiere – Sunday, Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. ET

Summer lives on for seven new roommates in REAL WORLD: SAN DIEGO, now entering its 26th season. There will be no shortage of drama this season as the roommates get to know each other, make lifelong friends (or enemies), and have the time of their lives by a beautiful lakefront beach house.
