The next 2 weeks see the premiere of 4 new series, the return of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, Invincible, Mythic Quest, Pose, Shrill, The Girlfriend Experience and The Handmaid’s Tale as well as the series finale of MacGyver. New series premiering in the next two weeks include Apple TV’s new drama The Mosquito Coast, Netflix’s new superhero drama Jupiter’s Legacy and new crime drama mini-series The Innocent, Peacock’s new comedy Rutherford Falls, which premieres in Canada on Showcase and new Crave original mini-series WAY OVER ME (SORTEZ-MOI DE MOI). In addition, Creepshow, Ghostwriter, Kenan, Magnum, P.I. and Young Rock conclude their current season.
Other highlights include the premiere of 2 new documentaries- Seasame Street: 50 Years of Sunny Days, a 2hr special on the legacy and impact of the iconic children’s show; The Sons of Sam: A Descent into Darkness, docu-series on one of America’s most prolific serial killers David Berkowitz (aka ‘Son of Sam’). Award season concludes with the 93rd Academy Awards, which honour the film’s industry’s best (airing April 25 @ 8pm ET). On the reality front, Food Network competition series Junior Chef Showdown and The Great Food Truck Race return with an all-new seasons. In addition, National Geographic’s anthology series Genius concludes its current season and Crave original docu-series Dark Side of the Ring returns with an all-new season.
