The first half of September sees the premiere of 4 new series, and the return of American Crime Story, Five Bedrooms, Into the Night, Queen Sugar and What We Do in the Shadows. New series premiering in the next two weeks include AMC+’s new Irish crime drama Kin, Disney+’s new medical drama Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. (a reboot of the late 80’s series Doogie Howser, M.D.) & animated series Dug Days and Hulu’s new murder mystery Only Murders in the Building (which will air on Star on Disney+ Canada) Netflix’s new comedy. In addition, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Duncanville, Good Trouble, Housebroken, Monsters at Work, Nurses and The Republic of Sarah conclude their current season.
Other highlights include the premiere of CBC’s new competition series Race Against the Tide, which sees 10 teams of 2 world-class sand sculptors competing to create extraordinary works of art made of sand and PBS’s new docuseries Future of Work, exploring changes in the workplace and the long-term impact on workers, employers, educators and communities. On the reality front, Netflix’s competition series The Circle returns with an all-new season.
