CDN Viewer’s WHAT’S ON? for July 16 – 29, 2023

On the network front, the next two weeks see the return of CBC competition series Race Against the Tide with an all-new season as well as the season finale of ABC game show The Chase.  Also, Big Brother 25th Anniversary Celebration, a 1hr special commemorating the show’s past 24 seasons and looking ahead to the upcoming milestone 25th season, airs July 26.

On the specialty & streaming front, the next 2 weeks see the premiere of 5 new series, the return of Dark Winds, Good Omens, Harley Quinn, Heels, Minx & Sweet Magnolias and the series finale of Full Circle & Mayans M.C..  New series premiering in the next two weeks include FX’s new limited series western crime drama Justified: City Primeval, Netflix’s new animated comedy Captain Fall, Paramount+’s new spy thriller Special Ops: Lioness. and new British comedy Dreamland (airing on W Network).  In addition, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Secret Invasion, The Crowded Room, The Rising & The Walking Dead: Dead City conclude their current season.

Other highlights include the premiere of new HBO documentary The Golden Boy, a 2-part docuseries that tells the story of Boxing great Oscar De La Hoya.

On the reality front, new HGTV renovation series Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge premieres, while Slice reality series Below Deck Down Under & The Real Housewives of New York City return with an all-new season.
