Finale season continues on the network front, as network series wind down their current season. The next two weeks see the finale of 21 series. Also, popular BBC drama Call the Midwife concludes its current season on PBS. On the reality front, So You Think You Can Dance returns with an all-new season while American Song Contest, Beyond the Edge, Domino Masters, The Masked Singer and Shark Tank conclude their current season.
On the specialty & streaming front, the next 2 weeks see the premiere of 8 new series, the return of Breeders & Hacks and the series finale of Joe vs Carole. New series premiering in the next two weeks include Amazon Freevee’s new crime drama Almost Paradise (airing on CTV Drama Channel), Amazon Prime Video’s new sci-fi drama Night Sky and limited series revival of popular sketch comedy The Kids in the Hall, Apple TV+’s new period drama The Essex Serpent, Crave’s new comedy Shoresy (a spin-off of popular series Letterkenny), Netflix’s new animated comedy Baby Boss: Back in the Crib & new legal drama The Lincoln Lawyer from famed producer David E. Kelley and HBO’s sci-fi romantic drama The Time Traveler’s Wife. In addition, Atlanta, Black Lady Sketch Show, Temple and Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty conclude their current season.
Other highlights include the 2022 Juno Awards and 2022 Billboard Music Awards both air May 15.
On the reality front, Food Network competition series BBQ Brawl returns with an all-new season while Big Restaurant Bet concludes its inaugural season. Also, popular HGTV series Island of Bryan concludes its current season and Paramount+ competition series The Challenge: All Stars returns with an all-new season.
