I would like to thank all our readers as well as the regular contributors to our TV Forums who have helped keep the site and forums going for another year. 2019 will mark another chapter in the ongoing renewal of Channel Canada, continuing our effort to become the go-to site in Canada for TV News and views. We welcome your comments, criticisms and suggestions to help make Channel Canada the best site for TV related content.
In 2019, Channel Canada will continue to keep you informed of all the latest news from the Canadian broadcasting industry including programming highlights, sports broadcasting news and updates on all your favourite TV shows. In addition to our regular features (TV Gord’s weekly ‘What’s On‘, Monthly CraveTV highlights, Fall TV Preview and sports schedules), we will be launching 2 new features:
- A Monthly TV Highlights column featuring information on New series premieres as well as season premieres and/or finales airing that month. The column will contain info for TV series from all sources including OTA networks, cable channels as well as online streaming services.
- A new TV Series section that features listings of all the scripted series (Comedy / Drama) currently airing on the most popular online streaming services as well as select premium cable networks. Also, each page contains a list of notable series that have previously aired but whose run has now ended. This new section of our site has now launched and can be accessed on the main page – look for ‘TV Series’ on the main menu bar. It currently contains TV series listings for the following services/channels:
The TV series listings will be updated on a regular basis and status updates (renewals, cancellations) will become part of our regular news reel to keep readers informed on the status of their favourite shows.
