Also from Henge Productions is their sports documentary Cranky (1 X 60), which follows three teams as they embark in the Great Fogo Island Punt Race.

Where’s My Goat 1X60 HD
Broadcaster: CBC’s Documentary Channel
After weeks of debating what promotional item might make the most sense for his clients, filmmaker Christopher Richardson settles on a curious approach of thanking them for their business: he will buy goats in their names for families in the developing world. But as the list of gifted goats grows, some clients question whether the animals actually exist. Christopher decides to travel to a Zambian village in search of one of the goats he has bought online and discovers for himself whether his ethical gift-giving is making the impact he hoped for. Along the way he encounters both supporters and detractors of the ethical gift concept. But one question is paramount to him: “Where’s My Goat?” Using humor, animation and a sincere desire to assess whether his good faith gesture is truly making a difference, this filmmaker’s search for ‘his’ goat is a provocative, outside-the-box look at charity and the impact a specific initiative might have.
Cranky 1X60 HD
Broadcaster: CBC
Cranky tells the story of three teams preparing for (and rowing in) the Great Fogo Island Punt Race, a grueling 16-kilometer endurance race in the open ocean between two North Atlantic islands. This emotional story explores the race through its participants and their very communal lives as they put their heart and soul into building their own punts (flat-bottomed boat), hoping and praying for the big win.
On the coast of the North Atlantic, a small wooden boat (or punt) that is very tippy in the water is known as ‘cranky’ (as it would make a punt unwieldy for hauling nets). But today, the traditional punts are being used for the race; and a cranky punt just might be the key to victory. Cranky is an endearing story following these teams competing to be local champions in a sea race like no other in North America. It is also a poignant look at an island way of life and a seafaring culture that has changed little over the centuries.
Cranky gives this culturally meaningful sporting event a world showcase, featuring eloquent, charming and very real local heroes.
The Smart Woman Survival Guide 39X30 HD
Broadcaster: W Network.
The Smart Woman Survival Guide, produced by Magee TV, is a Sex and the City-esque innovative half-hour scripted comedy that brings the best elements of sitcom and lifestyle genres together into one series.
The show follows a group of women who bond over work, life and love. As smitten viewers laugh alongside entertaining (and sometimes ridiculous) situations that the leading ladies find themselves in, they are also presented with tips, how-to’s and useful information that today’s ‘smart woman’ will find valuable. It’s an engaging, practical and distinctly female guide to everyday survival.
Hick Town 6X30 HD
John Hickenlooper had never run for public office before his first term as Mayor of Denver, Colorado. He was recently re-elected to run for second term and Time Magazine has named him one of the top five mayors in America. How did a small businessman who had never been in politics find himself successfully running one of America’s largest cities?
Hick Town is an intimate, fly-on-the-wall, behind-the-scenes documentary series that dramatically delves into the inner workings of running one of America’s largest, fastest growing cities.
The series will take you inside the Hickenlooper administration to show his unique approach of governing, as the Mayor tries to hold on to his political integrity while under constant scrutiny from the media and the public.
