Citytv Programming Highlights: Monday, July 19 – Sunday, July 25

Tune in to Citytv for a week packed with new episodes of some of your favourite reality and dramatic programming. Plus, relive some hilarious moments from some of TV’s hottest comedies. See below for highlights.

The Bachelorette (s/ABC): Monday, July 19 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT)
Romantic adventures await Ali and the final three bachelors — Chris L., Frank and Roberto — on the tropical island of Tahiti. Love is in the air as Ali is given the option of extending an invitation to each bachelor to spend the night in a “fantasy suite” following each date. Chris and Roberto head to the South Pacific but Frank stays behind in Chicago to make some major life decisions. Ali kicks off her Tahitian escape with a spectacular helicopter tour over Le Taha’a with Roberto. The next day Ali surprises Chris L. with a boat ride on a luxurious 75-foot catamaran. The following day, Ali eagerly awaits her final exotic date with Frank; but he has other things on his mind. Shortly after Ali arrives at his room, Frank delivers some shocking news that leaves Ali reeling. After an emotional deliberation at the rose ceremony, she and the final two men toast to their final destination of Bora Bora, where the bachelors will meet her family.

True Beauty (s/ABC): Monday, July 19 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT)***Season Finale***
Only three beauties have made it to the finale and for this weeks challenge the judges pair the contestants with a real-life celebrity who parties with them all night. Instead of getting to rest back at the hotel after a long night, the exhausted contestants are whisked to a new location to shoot a commercial for Las Vegas. They must memorize lines, learn blocking and be at their absolute best. In a stunning game-changing moment, Vanessa Minnillo confronts the contestants and shows them exactly what the “spy” cameras have captured when the contestants were unaware. Find out contestant will be crowned the winner and receive the $100,000 cash prize and a photo featured in People magazine.

America’s Got Talent (s/NBC): Tuesday, July 20 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT, 10:00pm MT)
Twelve more acts from the top 48 contestants perform live for a chance to win a $1 million prize and be voted America’s most talented. Judging is turned over to the American viewing audience. Sharon Osbourne, Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan star as the celebrity panel of judges and Nick Cannon hosts.

America’s Got Talent (s/NBC): Wednesday, July 21 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT,10:00pm MT)
The votes are in and four more acts from the previous night move in to the top 24 acts. Those acts will continue their pursuit of the million dollar prize and will be one step closer to being voted America’s most talented.

Modern Family: Wednesday, July 21 at 10:00pm ET/PT (9:00pm CT, 8:00pm MT) ***Encore Presentation***
Phil (Ty Burrell) tries to conquer his fear of the dark when he and Luke (Nolan Gould) go on a discovery expedition underneath the house; Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) invite Lily’s pediatrician over for brunch.

Cougar Town: Wednesday, July 21 at 10:30pm ET/PT (9:30pm CT, 8:30pm MT) ***Encore Presentation***
Jules (Courteney Cox) is determined to prove to Grayson (Josh Hopkins) that women and men can be friends without any sexual undertones. Meanwhile, with Jules’ encouragement, Andy (Ian Gomez) buys a motorcycle from Laurie (Busy Philipps) – to Ellie’s (Christina Miller) dismay – and Travis (Dan Byrd) joins Bobby (Brian Van Holt) on a man-trip for some “noodling,” and is mortified when he discovers the meaning of “noodling.”

Community (s/NBC): Thursday, July 22 at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm CT, 9:00pm MT) ***Encore Presentation***
The gang discovers that Jeff (Joel McHale) has a new girlfriend but he is determined to keep his affair a secret. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) have secrets of their own and decide to share it with their friends.

The Beat: Friday, July 23 at 9:00pm ET/PT (8:00pm CT, 10:00pm MT)
As Acting Staff Sergeant Toby Hinton adjusts to a more administrative role, his successor at the BET, Sergeant Steinkampf, unveils his first operation in the Downtown Eastside: a major clean up of the drug trade taking place on the front steps and back alleys of the neighbourhood’s Carnegie Community Center. Throughout this initiative, Constable Tim Russell, one of the team’s youngest officers, is hard at work mentoring the team’s newest member, Marina Trenkel.

The Beat: Friday, July 23 at 9:30pm ET/PT (8:30pmCT, 10:30pm MT)
The poverty and drug abuse of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside is starting to spill over into nearby Chinatown. With business owners and residents alarmed, the BET decide to act. Constable Stu Black takes charge of the situation by clearing the streets of drug users, and then targets a notorious dealer who operates out of a Chinatown rooming-house. Constables Tim Russell and Christiane Prévost face the growing problem of teenagers living on the streets. Constable Prévost tries to convince a young man from Montreal to get out of the Downtown Eastside and go home.
