The stars are lining up to appear in TV’s hottest new comedy, HOT IN CLEVELAND. Joe Jonas leads a long list of new and classic celebrities making appearances throughout the summer, including Carl Reiner, Huey Lewis, Susan Lucci, Hal Linden, Wayne Knight, Shirley Knight, Juliet Mills and Amy Yasbeck.
The legendary Carl Reiner (THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW), begins the long series of guest roles when he appears Monday, July 19 at 8 p.m. ET on CTV (Friday, July 23 at 8:30 pm ET/PT on The Comedy Network).
John Schneider (DUKES OF HAZZARD) was the first guest star to grace the shows’ soundstage this season when he appeared in the pilot episode. Still to come this summer on CTV are appearances by Huey Lewis (Duets) and Amy Yasbeck (WINGS) on July 26; Wayne Knight (SEINFELD) on August 2; Shirley Knight (As Good As It Gets), Hal Linden (BARNEY MILLER) and Juliet Mills (NANNY AND THE PROFESSOR) on August 9; Joe Jonas (The Jonas Brothers) on September 6; and the incomparable Susan Lucci (ALL MY CHILDREN) later this season.
Since its debut to record audiences on TV Land in the U.S. last month (4.7 million viewers), HOT IN CLEVELAND continues to be a hit this side of the border as well. A stellar 1.82 million viewers tuned in to CTV for the premiere episode last week, and nearly 1.5 million (1.46) for Episode 2 on Monday.
Dave Foley, Canadian comic actor, writer, director, producer and co-star of THE KIDS IN THE HALL and NEWSRADIO will appear in an upcoming episode, as will legendary comedic actor Tim Conway from THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW, Gary Anthony Williams from BOSTON LEGAL and 16-year-old Mark Indelicato from UGLY BETTY.
Dave Foley will play “Dr. Robert Moore” – the head of a local medical foundation who comes to see Victoria (Wendie Malick) when she fakes a deadly disease to gain sympathy and votes for her Emmy nomination. “Good Luck Faking the Goiter” airs Monday, September 6 at 8 p.m. ET and also guest stars pop sensation Joe Jonas, lead singer of Jonas Brothers.

HOT IN CLEVELAND revolves around three fabulous best friends from L.A. – novelist Melanie Moretti (Valerie Bertinelli, TOUCHED BY AN ANGEL), eyebrow archer to the stars Joy Scroggs (Jane Leeves, FRASIER) and former soap star Victoria Chase (Wendie Malick, JUST SHOOT ME) – who find their lives changed forever when their plane, headed for Paris, makes an unexpected landing. When the friends discover that they are hot in Cleveland, they decide to stay. Starting over, they rent a house that happens to come with a very feisty caretaker (Betty White, GOLDEN GIRLS).
