The battle for Brad’s heart begins as soon as the stilettos hit the pavement. As revealed this morning on Breakfast Television, the first five of 25 bachelorettes putting their hearts on the line include a voluptuous Playboy model and a God-loving pastor. Brad’s first five eligible bachelorettes are (in alphabetical order):

·         Chantelle, 25 (pastor), from Sylvan Lake, AB

·         Clarice, 25 (office administrator), from Toronto, ON

·         Melissa Marie, 28 (Playboy model), from North Vancouver, B.C.

·         Rebecca, a.k.a. “Bubba,” 27 (real estate agent), from Toronto, ON

·         Sophie, 26 (university recruitment agent), from Moncton, N.B.

Following their national debut on Breakfast Television this morning, bachelorette bios and candid personal videos are now available to fans across the country onBachelorCanada.ca. Tune in to Breakfast Television again next Wednesday, Sept. 5 for the second of five bachelorette reveals leading up to the October 3 premiere, sponsored by Schick Hydro Silk.

But first, go behind the scenes on an exclusive tour of The Bachelor Canada’s sprawling, west coast mansion in Victoria tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 30 at 9 a.m. ET on Cityline. From hot tubs to hangouts, host Tyler Harcott gives Cityline viewers a never-before-seen look at the romance headquarters up close before its doors officially open this October.

In the premiere episode, as the limousines roll up one by one, 25 of the country’s most eligible bachelorettes prepare to meet the man of their dreams. Among them, Melissa Marie, a sultry Playboy bunny, and single mother, is brimming with confidence, while bubbly blonde Chantelle, a pastor, struggles with a deep secret that could ruin her chances at forging a future with Brad. Outspoken Rebecca (a.k.a. Bubba) questions her own self-confidence, Sophie works her magic on Brad, and Clarice fights her nerves right from the moment she steps out of the limo. Opening night kicks off with the first major fight of the season, and the group is left gasping when shocking news is revealed at the rose ceremony.

As connections are made and hearts are broken, Brad’s quest for a fiancée takes him across the breathtaking Canadian countryside, and to some of the most exotic destinations around the world for romantic group dates and intimate one-on-ones.
