Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical’s Three International Productions Celebrated with New ETALK Special, Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 8 on CTV

Continuing to follow every stage of its rock’n’roll journey, ETALK presents the all-new special, BAT OUT OF HELL – THE MUSICAL, on Monday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV. The special airs one week before Jim Steinman’s Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical returns to Toronto on October 16 with a limited three-week run of its new North American production, as shows continue in London’s West End and rehearsals continue for its German debut.

With a new production of the smash hit musical currently in rehearsals in New York, the previously announced 19-city North American tour kicks off at Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre October 16-November 3, with tickets available here. The tour moves on to an engagement at Detroit’s Fox Theatre following its Toronto run.

After sold-out shows in Toronto and London’s West End in 2017, Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is currently playing an extended engagement at London’s Dominion Theatre. The production announced yesterday a special gala performance on December 6 in support of its wide-ranging partnership with the Invictus Games.

Meanwhile, a third production of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is currently in rehearsals for its German-language debut this November at The Stage Metronom Theatre in Oberhausen, Germany.

In celebration of its success, the half-hour exclusive special ETALK PRESENTS: BAT OUT OF HELL – THE MUSICAL follows the award-winning musical’s journey as ETALK anchor Ben Mulroney sits down with the cast, including the leads of the North American production Andrew Polec (who originated the role of Strat) and newcomer Emily Schultheis (Raven). The special also features an exclusive interview with rock star Meat Loaf about his career and involvement in the musical.

Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is a romantic adventure about rebellious youth and passionate love, set against the backdrop of a post-cataclysmic city adrift from the mainland.  Strat, the forever-young leader of The Lost, has fallen for Raven, daughter of Falco, the tyrannical ruler of Obsidian.
