The Season 9 premiere of CSI: MIAMI attracted 2.5 million viewers on CTV Sunday, book-ending a night that saw two million plus viewers on CTV every hour from 8-11 p.m. Winning its timeslot with total viewers and with all key demos, CTV now wins seven out of seven nights at 10 p.m. from Monday-Sunday last week.* CSI: MIAMI attracted more than triple the viewers than its closest rival, BROTHERS & SISTERS (Global/ABC, 760,000).
CTV won each timeslot from 7-11 p.m. with total viewers and A25-54:
* At 7 p.m., UNDERCOVER BOSS attracted 1.32 million viewers and bested CBC’s HEARTLAND by more than 50% in all three key adult demos.
* At 8 p.m. THE AMAZING RACE grew by 8% compared to last week to continue its winning streak with 2.62 million viewers, becoming the most-watched program of the day. From 8-9 p.m., THE AMAZING RACE had more than one million more total viewers than BATTLE OF THE BLADES (CBC, 1.58 million), delivering 227% more A18-49 viewers and 184% more A25-54.
* At 9 p.m., DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES delivered 2.03 million viewers, double the viewers of FAMILY GUY and AMERICAN DAD (Global/FOX, 1.07 million and 817,000).
