CTV and CTV News Channel Present Live CTV News Special: BUDGET 2013, Tomorrow

When the government delivers its 2013 Federal Budget, Canadians can turn to CTV, CTV News Channel, and CTVNews.ca/budget for BUDGET 2013. This national simulcast anchored by CTV NATIONAL NEWS’ Lisa LaFlamme, begins LIVE across the country at 4 p.m. ET tomorrow, Thursday, March 21 on CTV, CTV News Channel, and CTV Mobile. And beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET, BNN special coverage of the Federal Budget focuses on what the business community and investors need to know.From the decline of Canada’s hard-hit manufacturing industry and the need for skills training programs, to reining-in the federal budget deficit and raising mortgage lending rates, BUDGET 2013 delivers insight and analysis on how the new budget affects Canadian families across the country. Joining LaFlamme from Toronto and Ottawa are CTV News’ Robert Fife, Craig Oliver, Daniele Hamamdjian, Mercedes Stephenson, and CTV News’ Chief Financial Commentator, Pattie Lovett-Reid. The special also features guest commentators, including Don Drummond, former Chief Economist for TD Bank, and tax expert Tim Cestnick. Providing analyses before and after the budget is presented, POWER PLAY’s Don Martin joins BUDGET 2013 from the foyer of the House of Commons.
