New Holiday Specials
Ring in the holidays with Jann Arden and the cast of CTV Original comedy JANN with JANN: ALONE FOR THE HOLIDAYS (Friday, Dec. 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app) that serves as a gift for fans of both Arden and the series. In JANN: ALONE FOR THE HOLIDAYS, Jann is shocked to discover her family have all made plans for the holidays that don’t include her. With her assistant Trey (Tenaj Williams) for company, she reminisces about Christmases past – the good, the bad, and the humiliating – and it soon becomes clear there’s more than one way to holiday. JANN: ALONE FOR THE HOLIDAYS also showcases Arden performing classic holiday standards, and features guest appearances by Michael Bublé and Bryan Adams. (An encore presentation airs Saturday, Dec. 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on CTV).

As previously announced, holiday baking motivation is here with the new, fresh-out-of-the-oven, four-part holiday-themed CTV Original competition series CROSS COUNTRY CAKE OFF (two-night premiere event Thursday, Dec. 15 and Friday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app), with CTV’s Mary Berg and celebrated pastry chef Andrew Han judging the best holiday-themed cakes across Canada. Episodes continue Monday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app, with the third and final qualifying round leaving six cake makers to face off in two holiday challenges. The winner takes home the top prize of $50,000 and the title of CROSS COUNTRY CAKE OFF Champion during the finale on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.

Plus, Chef Gordon Ramsay takes his pals Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix on a road trip to find the home of Santa Claus himself in GORDON RAMSAY’S ROAD TRIP: CHRISTMAS VACATION (Saturday, Dec. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV). The trio travel deep into a winter wonderland packed with amazing food, big laughs, and Christmas spirit.

Delivering the magic of the season is THE ORIGINAL SANTA CLAUS PARADE (Saturday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca and the CTV app) with hosts Melissa Grelo (THE SOCIAL), Kelsey McEwen (CTV YOUR  MORNING), and Tyrone Edwards (ETALK). As previously announced, the 90-minute special features holiday performances from multiplatinum, 12-time Grammy® Award-winner John Legend, Canadian platinum-selling R&B singer-songwriter Preston Pablo, and Ottawa-born singer-songwriter Jamie Fine, on the 118th edition of the parade. CTV also delivers an encore presentations of Michael Bublé’s fan-favourite 2021 TV special, MICHAEL BUBLÉ’S CHRISTMAS IN THE CITY (Nov. 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV).
