CTV Programming Highlights: July 1-14

July ushers in the debut of HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT on CTV, the ultimate game night hosted by Golden Globe®-award winner Jane Lynch and featuring all-star players, a rockin’ house band, and plenty of surprise guests. Plus, all-new episodes of SATISFACTION, ANGER MANAGEMENT, MISTRESSES, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE,SAVING HOPE, MASTERCHEF, HOT IN CLEVELAND, and WHODUNNIT?.

Below is a chronological listing of detailed highlights for July 1-14. All programming is subject to change (all times ET/PT, visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times).

Monday, July 1

8 p.m. – SATISFACTION – “The Internship, Relationship, Friendship”– NEW EPISODE

Maggie (Leah Renee) persuades Mark (Ryan Belleville) to convince his sex buddy Shannon (Natalie Lisinska, ORPHAN BLACK), that Maggie should get an internship at a sleek marketing agency. Meanwhile, with Maggie preoccupied with her job hunt, and Mark busy with Shannon, Jason (Luke MacFarlane) is forced to recruit new trivia partners, Simon (Pat Thorton) and Bea (Nikki Payne), in an attempt to take home the coveted trophy. Toronto Maple Leafs Great, Wendel Clark guest stars as himself.

8:30 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT – “Charlie and the Hot Nerd” – NEW EPISODE

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) steals a hot woman from an angry nerd and Lacey (Noureen DeWulf) takes drugs in order to sell drugs.

10 p.m. – MISTRESSES – “Decisions, Decisions” – NEW EPISODE

Anxious to find out her paternity test results, Savi (Alyssa Milano) tries to hide her pregnancy from Harry (Brett Tucker). Meanwhile the friendship between Joss (Jes Macallan) and her gay client, Alex (Shannyn Sossamon), takes an interesting turn when Alex breaks up with her girlfriend.

Tuesday, July 2

8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

This season’s Top 20 finalists perform for the nation again before learning which dancers will be ending their journeys.

10 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Little Piggies” – NEW EPISODE

It’s a week of defying the odds at Hope Zion Hospital. Alex (Erica Durance) must learn to stick up for herself and not be intimidated by Dawn (Michelle Nolden) in order to work alongside her and perform a minimally invasive heart procedure to save a patient’s life. Meanwhile, Joel (Daniel Gillies) unlocks a mystery to a young girl’s disease, while getting some advice from Charlie (Michael Shanks), who is trying to figure out how to help his comatose patient come back from being a spirit.

Sunday, July 7

7 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “Cleveland Fantasy Con” – NEW EPISODE

Melanie (Valerie Bertinelli) finds herself tangled up in a love triangle at the office, while Joy’s (Jane Leeves) firefighter fantasy may be ruined by something she learns about Sean (Eddie Cibrian).

10 p.m. – THE MENTALIST – “Little Red Corvette” – NEW EPISODE TO CTV

The CBI investigates the death of a geologist, which Lisbon (Robin Tunney) is convinced is the key to bringing down Tommy Volker (Henry Ian Cusick).

Monday, July 8

8 p.m. – SATISFACTION – “The Wind Beneath My Wingman””– NEW EPISODE

After running into a college friend who has since dropped out of school, Jason (Luke Macfarlane) begins to question his own life path. After looking at his vision board, the only plausible thing left to achieve is to perform music live. Never having heard his music, Maggie (Leah Renee) signs him up for open mic night at the bar, but quickly regrets her decision. Meanwhile, Mark (Ryan Belleville) is stuck in a dating dry spell, so Maggie suggests he get a new wingman – like Simon (Pat Thornton, COMEDY BAR). However, Mark quickly learns that Simon knows nothing about women.

8:30 p.m. – ANGER MANAGEMENT – “Charlie Lets Kate Take Charge” – NEW EPISODE

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) lets his father (Martin Sheen) help him coach a high school baseball team with bad results.

10 p.m. – MISTRESSES – “Payback” – NEW EPISODE

Savi (Alyssa Milano) desperately tries to make things right with Harry (Brett Tucker), but he continues to avoid discussing their future. Meanwhile, Karen (Yunjin Kim) is frightened when, on the heels of the insurance investigation, someone breaks into her office and may have accessed her patient files. Plus, April (Rochelle Aytes) and Richard’s (Cameron Bender, GILMORE GIRLS) romance heats up, and Olivier (Mike Dopud, Man of Steel) continues to make Joss’ (Jes Macallan) life miserable at the office.

Tuesday, July 9

8 p.m. – SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS – LIVE

The Top 18 finalists partner up and dance their hearts out to stay in the competition.

10 p.m. – SAVING HOPE – “Why Waste Time” – NEW EPISODE

Alex (Erica Durance) is trying to get her life back to normal with Charlie (Michael Shanks) and at Hope Zion Hospital,  but with Charlie’s head in the clouds and the pressure to find her medical niche – she’s struggling. Inspiration comes in the form of an immigrant doctor who needs Alex to save his wife’s life, and in return, helps her find her calling.

Wednesday, July 10

8 p.m. – MASTERCHEF – NEW EPISODE – TWO HOURS

Actress and restaurateur Eva Longoria (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) surprises the contestants and selects Mexican-inspired ingredients for the mystery box challenge. The contestant who creates the most impressive restaurant-quality dish will determine which food basket each of the remaining contestants will receive in the elimination round. Later, in the team challenge, the home cooks hit the beach and cook fish tacos for more than 100 hungry surfers.

10 p.m. – THE LISTENER – “Witness for the Prosecution”– NEW EPISODE

When the key witness in a mob murder trial is shot, Toby (Craig Olejnik) and Michelle (Lauren Lee Smith) must contend with a suspicious FBI agent as they unravel a potential conspiracy linked to the original killing and retaliation.

Thursday, July 11

10 p.m. – HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT – “The One with Friends” – SERIES PREMIERE

From co-creators/producers Sean Hayes (WILL & GRACE, HOT IN CLEVELAND) and Todd Milliner (HOT IN CLEVELAND, GRIMM) comes the ultimate game night. Hosted by Jane Lynch (TWO AND A HALF MEN), HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT pairs ordinary people with big-name celebrities, including; Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Jason Sudeikis, Maya Rudolph, Dax Shepard, Amy Poehler, and Martin Short, in a series of outrageous games. Featuring a rockin’ house band and plenty of surprise guests, it’s the wildest party in town as the teams compete for a chance to take home up to $25,000.

Sunday, July 14

7 p.m. – HOT IN CLEVELAND – “Magic Diet Candy” – NEW EPISODE

After havoc takes hold of Wilbur’s christening, everyone from the gang recounts a story of how the events unfolded, including Owen (Michael McMillian) and Joy’s (Jane Leeves) mother.
