ETALK Delivers Extensive Multi-Platform Coverage of Biggest Night in Hollywood, the 94th OSCARS® on CTV

The most glamourous night of the year has arrived and ETALK – Canada’s most-watched entertainment news program – leads the way with exclusive and immersive coverage of the 94th OSCARS®. ETALK’s prime red carpet interview position provides a Canadian perspective while getting up close to the night’s biggest stars for one-on-one interviews, while ETALK’s exclusive balcony position overlooking the OSCARS® red carpet provides another angle of coverage as the stars enter the Dolby Theatre™. New this year, ETALK takes a digital-first approach, with interviews posted in real-time to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

All-week, ETALK (7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app) expands coverage from L.A., filming parts of the show from locations across the city, including The Thompson Hotel in Hollywood, the iconic Pavilion at the Academy Museum, and on Friday, from the still-under-construction OSCARS® red carpet to give viewers insight into the buzz as the City of Angels prepares for the most star-studded event in years.

The excitement continues with an all-new special, ETALK PREVIEWS THE OSCARS 2022, featuring interviews with this year’s award season favourites, including Will Smith, Kristen Stewart, Jessica Chastain, Andrew Garfield, the cast of Coda and Dune director, Canadian Denis Villeneuve. ETALK PREVIEWS THE OSCARS 2022 airs Sunday, March 27 at 5:30 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.

Confirmed OSCARS® presenters to date include: Halle Bailey, Ruth E. Carter Sean “Diddy” Combs, Kevin Costner, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lady Gaga, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Hopkins, Samuel L. Etalk.ca and ETALK’s social media accounts are the ultimate destination for roundups of all the fashion moments, as well as the full list of the night’s winners. ETALK reveals even more interview content, candid never-seen-before TV moments, and red carpet highlights during ETALK’s mega Monday OSCARS® recap – last year’s most-watched OSCARS® recap among total viewers – airs Monday, March 28 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, CTV.ca, and the CTV app.
