In an exclusive on-air message during tonight’s SUPER BOWL XLVII broadcast, it was revealed that international superstar Michael Bublé will host THE 2013 JUNO AWARDS on CTV on Sunday, April 21 from Regina’s Brandt Centre.
In the premiere of the 30-second promo, Bublé popped in-between Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger to deliver the message – both to the musical power couple and all Canadians – that he plans to hit all the right notes as host of this year’s JUNO AWARDS broadcast. The multi-JUNO and GRAMMY® Award-winning artist takes charge of Canada’s Music Awards at an exciting time in his career. Bublé will soon be announcing details on the release of his forthcoming fifth studio album and will perform the album’s first single during the JUNO AWARDS broadcast. In June, Michael will headline an incredible 10-night run at London’s O2 Arena.

A four-time JUNO Award performer and eleven-time JUNO Award winner, Bublé’s trademark style has taken the world by storm since he first burst onto the music scene. Born in Burnaby, B.C., Bublé had dreamt of being a musician since he was just two-years-old. His self-titled, debut album, released in 2003, featured classic standards, including “Fever” and “The Way You Look Tonight”. The album launched Bublé into the limelight, seeing him win New Artist of the Year at the 2004 JUNO Awards. Bublé’s second studio album, It’s Time, released the following year, again included classic standards, and as well included the original track “Home” which hit the top of the pop radio charts.
