After first crashing onto CTV on October 2, 2004, the multiple award-winning series LOST comes to and end with one final season of mind-bending twists and turns, beginning February 2. But with exactly two weeks ago until the premiere, CTV goes back to the beginning and gives viewers a chance to prep for the big premiere with additional buzz-building programming: an encore presentation of the Season 5 finale (Jan. 26); a special re-broadcast of the original 2004 Season 1 “Pilot” episode (Jan. 31), and a LOST highlight special recapping the past five seasons (Jan. 31). It’s the perfect primer for LOST fans new and old leading up to the sixth and final season, premiering Tuesday, February 2 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV (visit CTV.ca to confirm local broadcast times). LOST, the final season, also premieres Thursday, February 4 at 9 p.m. ET on SPACE.

* Tuesday, January 26 from 9 – 11 p.m. ET – “The Incident,” Parts 1 & 2 – In the fifth season finale, Jack’s decision to put a plan in action in order to set things right on the island is met with some strong resistance by those close to him, while Locke assigns Ben a difficult task.
* Sunday, January 31 at 7 p.m. ET – “Pilot,” Part 1 – Forty-eight survivors of an airline flight, which crash-lands onto an unknown island 1000 miles off course, struggle to figure out a way to survive, while trying to find a way to be rescued.
* Sunday, January 31 at 8 p.m. ET – “LOST: BEGINNING OF THE END” – This all-new special explores the series in a way that will bring new viewers up to date – but which current viewers will also find illuminating – in anticipation of the two-hour final season premiere. The special will take a look at the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, the mysteries of the island, its inhabitants, the Oceanic 6, the violent shifts through time on the island and the detonation of the hydrogen bomb. It will also delve into some of the questions that have been answered, and those that still remain a mystery
For additional information, mythology, clues and hints before the final season begins, CTV.ca features one to four-minute Quick Cuts from all 97 episodes. Each fully re-edited and re-scored mini-episode features vital information about the complicated history and future of the passengers of Oceanic flight 815, secrets of The Island and the murky truth about The Others.

As previously announced, during the VANCOUVER 2010 OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES LOST fans can watch brand-new episodes of Season 6 on /A\, Tuesday, February 16 and 23 at 9 p.m. ET/PT (visit Atv.ca to confirm local broadcast times). New episodes of LOST will also be made available on demand Wednesdays at 9 a.m. ET on the CTV Video Player at CTV.ca and spacecast.com following its television broadcast each week.
A consistent Top 20 performer on CTV,* LOST has won nearly 50 awards during its five year run including Emmys for “Outstanding Drama Series”, “Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series” and “Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series”, as well as a Golden Globe Award for “Best Drama”.
Starting February 2, LOST will begin answering those questions that have kept avid viewers guessing for seasons. What ever happened to Claire? What is the smoke monster? Why is Richard Alpert seemingly ageless? Why does the frozen wheel beneath the Orchid station send people to the Tunisian desert? Why did the Oceanic 6 need to go back to the island?
In the two-hour premiere “LA X, Part 1 and 2” (Tuesday, February 2 at 9 p.m. ET on CTV), the aftermath from Juliet’s detonation of the hydrogen bomb is revealed.
