· ALEX BILODEAU: CANADA AM takes a look back at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games big wins and big stories, starting with Alex Bilodeau, the men’s mogul skier who made history as Canada’s first gold medal winner on home soil. Bilodeau looks back at his win and reflects on the year since.
· MAKING THE GRADES: All week, CANADA AM takes aim at higher rates of failure for Canadian kids in academics. In the first installment of this series, a high school student and his parent share their personal struggle with his low grades. We’ll look at the causes and possible solutions with well-known author, educator and speaker Karen Hume who leads workshops at schools around the country.

· REAL VS RUMOUR: What’s a Prince to wear on his wedding day? CANADA AM takes a look at the rumoured looks for Prince William – from Military pomp and circumstance to an English kilt – with Royal correspondent Camilla Tominey live from London, England.
· MOLLY PARKER: The Canadian actress sits down with Seamus O’Regan to talk about Oliver Sherman, the first feature film by Vancouver-born director Ryan Redford. Parker plays “Irene,” the wife and mother of former army man “Franklin” who saved the life of his associate Sherman Oliver.
· JOHNNY CASH MUSICAL: The Man In Black: A Tribute to Johnny Cash starring Shawn Barker opens tonight in Toronto and this morning, he performs two songs from the show on the CANADA AM soundstage.

· EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITES: Choosing the right extra-curricular activities can boost grades in the classroom. Tune in to learn how to find the right activity and the right balance with classwork.
· OLYMPIC LOOKBACK: CANADA AM continues its Olympic Games look back with the first men’s hockey game, and Maëlle Ricker’s golden performance.
· BEER TRENDS: From exclusive micro breweries, international flair, wheat, hops, fruit, and sparkling beer. Cicerone Steve Riley of betterbeer.com talks about the trends in beer today.
· FERTILITY MIX UP: Carolyn Savage was accidentally impregnated via IVF with another couple’s embryo. She carried the baby to term and handed it over to the biological parents. The unthinkable mix-up is the subject of Inconceivable, a book by Carolyn and Sean Savage, who join CANADA AM live from New York to tell their story.
Thursday, Feb. 17
· ALTERNATIVE LEARNING: Students who don’t succeed in a traditional mainstream school setting may benefit from alternative learning methods and environments. Carlo Ricci, a professor at Nipissing University and the editor of The Journal of Unschooling and Alternative Learning, tells CANADA AM about alternative options and how an untraditional model helped one of his own kids.
· OLYMPIC LOOKBACK: This day last year held a silver lining for Canadian short track speed skater Marianne St-Gelais who won a silver medal. The country celebrated her victory and no one was more excited that St-Gelais’ boyfriend and fellow Olympic medallist – speed skater Charles Hamelin.
· CANADIAN CAR OF THE YEAR: In 2008 it was the Audi R8, 2009 Hyundai Genesis was tops and in 2010 Volkswagen Golf GTI was the big winner and this year Canada AM will announce live what car tops the list for 2011.

· OLYMPIC LOOKBACK: A year ago today, Team Canada took on Switzerland in their second game of the Games, men’s figure skater Patrick Chan stumbled in his short-program, while speed skater Christine Nesbitt won gold in the 1000m for Canada.
