Global’s broadcast of the 52nd Annual GRAMMY® Awards won the night with 2.7 million viewers national (Ind 2+). With an impressive growth of 63% nationally (Ind 2+) over last year’s show, music’s biggest night clearly did not disappoint.
Leading into the broadcast, ‘The GRAMMY® Awards: ET Canada Live ruled the red carpet and drew more than 900,000 viewers nationally. The show increased its audience by a staggering 166% over last year nationally (2+). The star-studded special featured one-on-one interviews with music’s top acts including Taylor Swift, Katie Perry, Pink, Miley Cyrus, Drake, Justin Bieber and more.
Additional highlights include:
§ 1.3 million viewers in the key Adult 18-49 demo nationally; 46% year-over-year audience growth
§ Won the night in all three metered markets
