iHeartRadio Canada announced the launch of more than 10 massive radio contests featuring large cash prizes running across the country, starting today. More than $600,000 in prizes are available to be won.
Back and bigger than ever, VIRGIN RADIO stations across Canada give listeners the chance to win a grand prize of $100,000 with the Destroy Your Debt contest, beginning today. Meanwhile, Toronto’s CHUM 104.5’s Beat The Bank contest is back with $100,000 in cash prizes to give away to listeners across the Greater Toronto Area, and country music fans have the chance to play the PURE COUNTRY Music Challenge in hopes of winning $50,000, with both contests beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8. Additional cash-contests are happening on iHeartRadio Canada stations in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta, and B.C. (see below for more details).

VIRGIN RADIO
VIRGIN RADIO listeners across Canada are invited to tune in to their local stations every weekday at 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. to listen for that hour’s key word associated with Virgin Radio’s $100,000 Destroy Your Debt contest. Listeners will have 10 minutes to text that word and their name to the station or to enter it online. After 10 minutes one lucky contestant will be randomly chosen to qualify for the $100,000 grand prize to destroy their debt, courtesy of VIRGIN RADIO. CHUM 104.5
Toronto’s most famous radio contest, CHUM 104.5’s Beat The Bank, returns with $100,000 in cash prizes to be won, weekdays at 7 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m. ET. Caller #25 has the chance to Beat The Bank by opening an on-air vault containing a predetermined prize total. With some vaults containing $25,000, listeners must decide whether to take the money offered, or move on to the next vault and risk losing it all. For more details on the contest, please click here.
PURE COUNTRY
Every weekday, PURE COUNTRY listeners have a chance to put their country music knowledge to the test by playing the PURE COUNTRY $50,000 Music Challenge. Listeners from all 13 Pure Country radio stations across Canada will compete to name as many artists or songs as they can within 60 seconds and become their local station leader to win a local cash prize.
