New Year, New Programming: New Season of TOSH.0 and All-New Series ONION SPORTSDOME Anchor Refreshed Winter Schedule, January on The Comedy Network

The Comedy Network laughs in the face of winter blues this January with a fresh schedule and hilarious new shows. Celebrating the most momentous fails of viral videos, Daniel Tosh is ready to take on the most mockable online wonders when Season 3 of TOSH.0 premieres Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Then, from the creators of the hilarious website and newspaper, The Onion, comes the new satirical series, ONION SPORTSDOME, premiering Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, only on The Comedy Network. ONION SPORTSDOME is the most credible fake sports news source out there, offering viewers only the finest in phony in-depth analysis, rumour-mongering and petty personal attacks.

TOSH.0 and ONION SPORTSDOME lead a full lineup of side-splitting, original programming all month long this January on The Comedy Network. See below for additional highlights of specials, premieres and new episodes.

About TOSH.0 – Season 3:

Weekly and topical, the hit series exposes and skewers the endless array of ridiculousness on the internet. In Season 3 of TOSH.0, host Daniel Tosh continues to give subjects of notorious viral videos a chance to recover from the embarrassment they’ve become synonymous with in their very own “Web Redemption”, highlighted by the following journeys back from infamy:

• Chocolate Rain: Daniel helps Tay Zonday (a.k.a. Chocolate Rain) record a follow-up to his hit song “Chocolate Rain.”
• Phil Davison: Tosh helps failed candidate for Stark County (Ohio) Treasurer launch his Presidential bid.
• Lizard Reporter: Reporter confronts and overcomes his fear of lizards.

Before the hilarity of Season 3 begins, viewers can hit refresh with the TOSH.0 Season 2 Marathon, Sunday, January 9 at 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. ET/PT on The Comedy Network.

About ONION SPORTSDOME:

Co-anchored by Alex Reiser and Mark Shepard, ONION SPORTSDOME is the #1 destination for fans seeking game reports, insights from former players and theme music heavy on bell tones and bendy guitar riffs. Shepard and Reiser are joined by the venerable “Dome” crew, including Senior sports insider Reggie Greengrass, who needs nine smartphones to hold the phone numbers of all the athletes he knows; update anchor Melissa Wells, who has more journalism degrees than the rest of her colleagues put together; “Wish Zone” host Jay Woodworth, who makes terminally-ill children’s dreams come true as long as they are sports-related; analyst Doc Webb, who holds the SportsDome record for the number of athletes he’s referred to as “overpaid garbage;” and investigative reporter Marc Howell, who mines sports’ most tragic elements for awards and ratings gold.
