“SuBo” fans can discover how it all began, when Bravo! presents the Canadian premiere of I DREAMED A DREAM: THE SUSAN BOYLE STORY – a one-hour documentary profiling Boyle’s rise to fame, premiering Monday, January 25 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT exclusively on Bravo!
I DREAMED A DREAM originally aired in the UK and in the U.S. on the TV Guide Network (becoming the highest rated television special in the station’s history) and features a special duet with Boyle’s musical hero Elaine Paige, before capturing the brief encounter between her and her idol Donny Osmond.
Hosted by Piers Morgan, the documentary also features exclusive interviews with Boyle, her closest friends, and celebrity fans such as Simon Cowell. Boyle premieres songs from her latest album including, “Cry Me a River,” the Rolling Stones classic “Wild Horses,” and a very special performance of “I Dreamed A Dream,” with the London West End cast of Les Miserables.
Fans are given an opportunity to see Boyle shine on-stage in her own spotlight, witness amazing musical performances in a concert setting, and gain insight into the challenges Boyle overcame before becoming an international phenomenon.
