Nov. 29 Is E! Day!

E! Announced yesterday that it will hit Canadian airwaves at 12 noon ET when it debuts next Monday, Nov. 29. The all-new channel will launch with a special day of programming designed to E!-ducate viewers on a schedule they won’t find anywhere else. The launch day kicks off at 12 p.m. ET as ETALK’s Ben Mulroney and Tanya Kim hit the E!-xclamation switch, bringing E! to Canadian airwaves once again. Then, it’s an afternoon and evening of staple E! programming beginning with the ladies who have put E! on the center of pop culture with TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY: THE KARDASHIANS, followed by the fun and frivolous E! CELEBRATES 20 YEARS OF THE CELEBRITY REVOLUTION, the top entertainment stories of the day in ETALK and the day-and-date premiere of E! NEWS. Finally E!’s first day ends with the all-new CHELSEA’S BIG INTERVIEW SPECIAL followed by the day-and-date premiere of CHELSEA LATELY. In a strategic scheduling move, CTV presents a sneak peak of E! programming in a six-hour conventional network marathon on Saturday, Nov. 27 beginning at 12 noon ET.

In CHELSEA’S BIG INTERVIEW SPECIAL (Monday, Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET), E!’s reigning late night female comedienne Chelsea Handler chats one-on-one with A-list actresses Gwyneth Paltrow (Country Strong), Anne Hathaway (Love & Other Drugs) and singing sensation Christina Aguilera (Burlesque) about each of their individual highly-anticipated film projects. This interview special is just a tease before the day-and-date premiere of Handler’s tongue-in-cheek late-night series CHELSEA LATELY (11 p.m. ET) debuts north of the border.
