Hot off its best Fall season of all time, History Television continues its ratings success with the premiere of IRT: DEADLIEST ROADS – the spin-off of hit series Ice Road Truckers – which has become the highest-rated single episode in channel history. The anticipated spin-off garnered nearly 1 million viewers on January 12 at 9pm ET/PT.

* The season premiere placed History Television in the #1 Specialty position for the day
* IRT: DEADLIEST ROADS delivered 968,000 (2+), 416,000 (A25-54) and 395,000 (A18-49)
* This episode of IRT: DEADLIEST ROADS exceeded the network’s previous high-water mark for a single-viewing for Pawn Stars at 804,100 (2+) and 499,500 (A25-54) on October 12, 2010

History Television’s Winter schedule, which launched on January 3, 2011, features an incredible lineup of hit series including the world premieres of Rodeo: Life on the Circuit (Tuesdays at 8pm), Museum Secrets (Thursdays at 10pm) and the second season of Ice Pilots NWT (Wednesdays at 8pm), as well as Swamp People (Wednesdays at 10pm) and the second season of American Pickers (Tuesdays at 10pm). IRT: DEADLIEST ROADS airs Wednesday at 9 pm ET/PT.
