In July 2002, legendary Red Sox hitter Ted Williams dies at the age of 83. Though Williams’ will instructs that his body be cremated, his youngest children claim that, before his death, he signed a pact with them to have his remains cryogenically frozen. But not all of Williams’ children agree with this decision. What follows are shocking accusations of manipulation and fraud, exposing a troubled family history and what really happened to Williams’ body.

INHERITING TROUBLE – “The Estate of Etta James”

After a roller coaster life of musical highs and drug-addicted lows, Grammy® Award-winner Etta James is on her deathbed in January 2012. In her final days, the powerhouse singer is too weak to express her dying wishes – and her family is bitterly divided over how to help. Her husband Artis fights to keep her at home no matter the cost; and her sons by different fathers, Donto and Sametto, fear their stepfather is playing fast and loose with what’s left of their mother’s estate. The debate rages on in the courtroom – and the clock is ticking to find a resolution before it’s too late. Will Etta James find peace?

INHERITING TROUBLE – “The Estate of Stieg Larsson”
Thursday, December 6 at 8 p.m. ET/9 p.m. PT
Author and journalist Stieg Larsson dies of a heart attack in 2004, months before the release of his first novel The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Immediately, Gabrielsson challenges the Larssons by claiming that she is the rightful heir but the Larssons won’t budge – a dispute made even more complicated when Dragon Tattoo becomes a phenomenal success in 2005.
