Hodor! A record number of Canadians caught the third season of Game of Thrones, which drew to a riveting conclusion last night on HBO Canada, a multiplex ofAstral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada). 
The third season of Game of Thrones, notable for toddler dragons, lost limbs and a nightmare wedding, was the most-watched series to date on HBO Canada, besting the previous high-water mark held by Game of Thrones Season 2. Game of Thrones Season 3 has also broken all series viewership records for The Movie Network and Movie Central.
Last Sunday’s finale, written by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, saw Joffrey challenge Tywin, Dany win the hearts of the Yunkai’i, a return to the scene of the already legendary “Red Wedding,” and intriguing developments from Dragonstone and the Iron Islands. The Emmy® and Golden Globe® winning series has been renewed by HBO for a fourth season.
