Hodor! A record number of Canadians caught the third season of Game of Thrones, which drew to a riveting conclusion last night on HBO Canada, a multiplex ofAstral’s The Movie Network (Eastern Canada) and Corus Entertainment’s Movie Central (Western Canada).
The third season of Game of Thrones, notable for toddler dragons, lost limbs and a nightmare wedding, was the most-watched series to date on HBO Canada, besting the previous high-water mark held by Game of Thrones Season 2. Game of Thrones Season 3 has also broken all series viewership records for The Movie Network and Movie Central.
Last Sunday’s finale, written by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. The Emmy® and Golden Globe® winning series has been renewed by HBO for a fourth season.
