2010 LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY Headlines TSN’s Playoff Preview Coverage, Live April 13

One lucky NHL team is going to score the evening’s biggest prize – the #1 overall pick in the 2010 NHL ENTRY DRAFT – when NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly reveals the draft order on the LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY, live Tuesday, April 13 at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on TSN. Daly joins host James Duthie and Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie in studio for the 30-minute TSN original production, which also features in-studio representatives from each of the five NHL teams eligible to win the #1 overall pick. This year’s draft lottery marks the first time in more than a decade that a Canadian team – the Edmonton Oilers – has the greatest probability of picking #1 overall in the NHL Entry Draft.

TSN’s production of the LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY is being carried live on Versus in the U.S. and available on-demand at TSN.ca.

The LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY headlines TSN’s prime-time lineup of extensive Playoff Preview coverage on April 13 – one day prior to the start of the 2010 STANLEY CUP® PLAYOFFS. Along with the LG NHL DRAFT LOTTERY, TSN gets hockey fans primed for the post-season with the 60-minute NHL ON TSN STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ‘10: FANTASY DRAFT SPECIAL at 7 p.m. ET and the 90-minute NHL ON TSN STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ‘10: PREVIEW SHOW at 8:30 p.m. ET (see TSN Playoff Preview Broadcast Schedule below).

All three programs are available on-demand at TSN.ca, alongside comprehensive post-season coverage leading up to and throughout the NHL Playoffs (see TSN.ca section below).

TSN’s live coverage of the first three rounds of the 2010 STANLEY CUP® PLAYOFFS begins April 14. TSN and TSN2 will announce their post-season broadcast schedules following the conclusion of the NHL regular season.

TSN Playoff Preview Broadcast Schedule

TSN’s jam-packed Playoff Preview lineup is as follows:

NHL ON TSN STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ‘10: FANTASY DRAFT SPECIAL – April 13 at 7 p.m. ET

Watch out, Darren Dreger! Expect tons of trash talking as Pierre McGuire, Dave Hodge and Keith Jones look to take down two-time defending fantasy playoff pool champion Dreger in the fourth annual NHL ON TSN STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS ‘10: FANTASY DRAFT SPECIAL. James Duthie hosts the 60-minute show featuring TSN’s hockey gurus. Each expert selects teams of six forwards, three defencemen and one goalie in the snake-style draft. A single point is awarded for each goal and assist, while goaltenders earn one point for each playoff victory and shutout recorded during the NHL Playoffs.
