CFL fans flocked to their television sets on Thanksgiving Day as preliminary overnight data from BBM Canada confirms that an average audience of 1.21 million viewers* watched Monday’s overtime thriller featuring B.C. @ Winnipeg.
This marks the highest average audience ever recorded for a CFL game played on Thanksgiving Day (since 1994).
Audience levels peaked at 2.1 million viewers at 7:50 p.m. ET as the Lions were driving towards the end zone in overtime with the Blue Bombers up by six points.
