Close to 100 Hours of Smashing WIMBLEDON Coverage Begins Monday, Live on TSN

It’s time for players to get their tennis whites their whitest and for fans to break out the strawberries and cream because TSN is serving up nearly 100 hours of exclusive live coverage of WIMBLEDON, beginning Monday, June 21 at 6:30 a.m. ET.

TSN’s exclusive coverage of the third Grand Slam event of the season includes both the men’s and women’s early round matches, round of 16, quarter-finals and semifinals from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (see complete broadcast schedule below).

In addition to TSN’s live television coverage, TSN.ca has exclusive Canadian live streaming coverage of select matches every round including both the men’s and women’s finals. Featured matches on TSN.ca will be different than the matches televised on TSN whenever possible. TSN.ca also features a Slam Tracker real-time scoreboard that allows fans to follow any live match in detail.

The biggest story on the men’s side this year is the return of Rafael Nadal after being forced to miss last year’s tournament due to injury. The recently crowned FRENCH OPEN champion and #1-ranked men’s player returns to WIMBLEDON competition for the first time since defeating Roger Federer in the 2008 final. Federer, who claimed his sixth WIMBLEDON title last year, returns to defend as the #1 seed and looks to add to his record 16 career Grand Slam singles victories. Local favourite Andy Murray enters this year’s tournament with the #4 seed.

On the women’s side, defending champion Serena Williams returns as the #1 seed looking for a fourth career WIMBLEDON title. Serena’s sister Venus Williams is the #2 seed this year and is always a threat to win having appeared in the final eight out of the last 10 years winning five times.

TSN’s broadcast schedule for WIMBLEDON is as follows:

· Monday, June 21 – Early Round Coverage: Day 1 at 6:30 a.m. ET
