Live Australian Football League Action on TSN2 in 2010

Beginning later this month, TSN2 heads down under for live coverage of the Australian Football League’s 2010 Premiership Season. The AFL features 16 teams from across Australia vying for the coveted premiership title. The 22-round regular season runs from March until August with the top eight teams qualifying for the four-week Finals Series in September culminating with the championship game, the AFL Grand Final. TSN2’s live coverage begins Friday, March 26 at 4:30 a.m. with a Round 1 match-up featuring the defending champion Geelong Cats taking on Essendon.

TSN2 will air one live game every week throughout the 2010 AFL season including playoffs and the AFL Grand Final (see attached broadcast schedule). TSN2 currently has 21 regular season games scheduled with more to be added in the final weeks of the regular season and playoffs.
