THE PERFECT STORM – THE STORY OF THE 1994 MONTREAL EXPOS

TSN opens the 2015 MLB season with a look back at one of the most compelling seasons for baseball in Canada. THE PERFECT STORM – THE STORY OF THE 1994 MONTREAL EXPOS is an original documentary by filmmaker Sean Menard. Jonah Keri, lead baseball writer at ESPN’s Grantland, served as executive producer.

The documentary focuses on the 1994 Expos, who boasted the best record in Major League Baseball (74-40) when a players’ strike halted the best season in franchise history, ending the team’s chance for a run at their first World Series championship. The film features a series of compelling one-on-one interviews with many key figures from the 1994 Expos team, including: Felipe Alou, Moises Alou, Larry Walker, Pedro Martinez, Marquis Grissom, Cliff Floyd, Darrin Fletcher, John Wetteland, Ken Hill, and more.

Air times for THE PERFECT STORM – THE STORY OF THE 1994 MONTREAL EXPOS are as follows:

  • Monday, March 30 at 11 p.m. ET on TSN4
  • Tuesday, March 31 at 4:30 p.m. ET on TSN3
  • Tuesday, March 31 at 8:30 p.m. ET on TSN1
  • Thursday, April 2 at 11:30 p.m. ET on TSN4

The documentary will also air with French subtitles on RDS.
