With training camp open in CFL cities across the country, TSN gets fans in shape for the regular season with its CFL TRAINING CAMP PREVIEW SHOW, live on Sunday, June 5 at 5 p.m. ET.
The 60-minute TSN original production features the CFL ON TSN panel with host Dave Randorf and analysts Chris Schultz, Matt Dunigan and Jock Climie breaking down the off-season moves made by each CFL team. The panel also takes a closer look at some of the battles for starting positions shaping up at training camp, including the quarterback competition in Toronto between newly-acquired pivot Stephen Jyles and last year’s QB starter Cleo Lemon.
CFL ON TSN analysts Glen Suitor and Milt Stegall review the off-season changes made to the BC Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers, while Duane Forde evaluates some of the new players that were selected in the CFL Canadian Draft and supplemental draft. Dunigan also examines how CFL players get ready for training camp in the off-season.
Finally, TSN Football Insider Dave Naylor revisits his time spent in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, earlier this year in January when he joined seven CFL players participating in Huddle for Haiti – a humanitarian endeavour that marked the first anniversary of Haiti’s worst earthquake in 200 years. Among the CFL players involved was Montreal Alouettes’ running-back Yvenson Bernard, whose emotional reunion with his half-brother in Haiti is captured in Naylor’s report.
