In May 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono held their famous week-long “Bed-In for Peace” at the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal – an event that culminated in the recording of the enduring protest anthem “Give Peace a Chance.”
This fascinating 2005 documentary by Canadian director Paul McGrath looks back at an unforgettable moment in cultural history. The hour-long film includes seldom-seen archival footage featuring Sixties celebrities such as Timothy Leary, Tom Smothers and Petula Clark, as well as an extensive interview with Yoko Ono.
