The first of seven final episodes reveal what is to become of Don Draper and those in his orbit.
Wolf Hall – 10pm on PBS
Damian Lewis (Homeland) stars as Henry VIII in this six-part miniseries, which aired earlier this year on PBS Two to almost universal praise.
Salem – 10pm on Space
Season two begins with lead witch Mary Sibley facing challenges to her authority from more than one opposing forces.
The Lizzie Borden Chronicles – 10pm on Lifetime
Christina Ricci takes another whack at the role of Lizzie Borden (after last year’s Lifetime movie, Lizzie Borden Took An Ax) in this eight-part miniseries (which, incidentally, was filmed in Halifax).
Monday
NCAA Basketball Championship – 9pm on CBS and TSN
Wisconsin and Duke battle it out in this preamble to CBS resuming its regularly scheduled programming.
Tuesday
Younger – 8pm on M3
Sutton Foster stars as a 40-year-old woman who tries to pass herself off as a 26-year-old to land her dream job. Hillary Duff and Debi Mazar are among the cast of this comedy, which kicks off with two back-to-back episodes.
Sirens – 10pm on Comedy
This very funny sitcom from producer Denis Leary offers up a double dose of paramedic fun. If you haven’t seen this show yet and you liked Leary’s Rescue Me, I think you’ll enjoy this one, too.
Justified – 10pm on Showcase
Season four of the saga of Kentucky Marshall Raylan Givens makes its way to your cheaper cable package.
Wednesday
The Secrets of The Fifth Estate – 9pm on CBC
As the news and public affairs series marks its 40th anniversary, correspondents take viewers behind the scenes to show how their segments come together.
Thursday
The Comedians – 10pm on FX
Bill Crystal and Josh Gadd team up to do their version of 30 Rock. He is a veteran comedian and he is a younger and edgier comedian. They are paired to do a late-night comedy sketch show. …and then the fun begins.
Louie – 10:30 on FX
Louis CK’s truly edgy, frequently hilarious and occasionally thought-provoking series is back for am eight-episode fifth season.
Friday
Daredevil – 13 episodes on Netflix
Marvel’s next evolution on television begins with the blind lawyer and superhero Matt Murdock fighting crime in New York’s Hell’s Kitchen. Charlie Cox stars with Vincent D’Onofrio (as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin) and Rosario Dawson among the supporting cast.
