This new comedy tells the story of 14-year-old Toby, a typical kid with typical problems. One thing that’s not typical, though, is that his life is narrated by live TV announcers (including Samantha Bee, who just left The Daily Show last week).
David Letterman: A Life On Television – 9:30pm on CBS
As Dave gets ready to leave his talk show career behind on May 20th, CBS pays tribute to his 35-year career on television (from his ill-fated morning show through NBC’s Late Night with David Letterman and of course, The Late Show with David Letterman. Ray Romano (whose Everybody Loves Raymond came from Letterman’s Worldwide Pants production company) is the host of this 90-minute special.

This sitcom about a bunch of friends who hang out at their neighbourhood bar stages a live one-hour show tonight (twice, one for the east and one for the west).

Bones – 8 to 10pm on Fox and Global
Booth and Brennan and the team investigate two cases this week.

A double dose of oddness this week.

Hawaii Five-0 – 9 to 11pm on CBS and Global
The Five-0 team bids farewell to its fifth season with two back-to-back hours.
Sunday
Once Upon A Time – 8 to 10:01pm on ABC and CTV
The Author storyline comes to a head in this two-hour season finale.
Revenge – 10:01 to 11pm on ABC and City
Amanda’s odyssey comes to an end in this series finale, omninously entitled, “Two Graves”.
